A group opposed to pigeon shoots has taken aim at Berks County's District Attorney.
Two members of the group SHARK -- Showing Animals Respect and Kindness -- protested pigeon shoots outside D.A. John Adams' office Thursday morning.
The group claimed to have video from a recent shoot in Berks County.
Members said Adams' won't allow criminal charges against someone accused of shooting live pigeons to go forward.
"Not only is Pennsylvania the last state in the country to allow this, Berks County is virtually the last county in Pennsylvania to allow this, as far as we know," said Steve Hindi, president, SHARK.
Adams said pigeon shoots are legal in Pennsylvania, and his job is to enforce laws, not make them.
